It’s been said that we’re all products of our environment. Growing up in the 60’s and watching television shows such as The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits along with bad “B” movies such as Earth vs. the Flying Saucers formed the beginnings of a life-long interest in space science and the unknown. Television shows and movies soon led to books on the subject of UFOs, but unfortunately this interest had to be put aside to build a career, raise a family, and earn a bachelor in business and a master’s in education.
Now with my family grown and pursing their own careers I’ve decided to return to my lifelong interest. The first step nine years ago was in joining the Ohio based group the Cleveland Ufology Project (CUP). CUP is the oldest continually meeting UFO group in the world. I stepped down as Co-director of the Cleveland Ufology Project in 2018 to pursue other UFO related projects.
The second step was becoming a member of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). In nine years I have advanced from field investigator to State Director for Ohio. During this time I’ve investigated over 300 cases in Ohio and assisted the MUFON Case Assistance Group (CAG) by conducting investigations in Canada, United Kingdom, and Puerto Rico. One my most interesting investigations involved two fishermen with over three and one-half hours of missing time. What makes this case so special to me are my own personal experiences dating back to the 1960’s. Three regressions have explored the first memories of potential close encounters. The investigator in me wants to see real data before I’ll commit to saying it really happened.
If that was not enough, I’ve discussed UFOs at over 150 community outreach programs, been a featured guest on radio and television shows, participated in two documentaries, presented investigator training at the MUFON National Symposium and appeared as an alien in a short sci-fi film.
